2024 Summer Camp Schedule

Stepping Stones is pleased to announce our summer programs for the summer of 2024!

We will again be offering three-day programs meeting Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Our summer camps will include two different groups of children. The morning session (9:00-11:30) will be for children ages 3 to 5 years of age. The afternoon session (12:30-3:00) will be for children entering Kindergarten through fifth grade.

 

 

          

      Summer Program for children ages 3-5

June 25^th, 26^th, 27^th Color your World– From imagination to creation little artists’ minds will be sparked as we dig our hands into many exciting art materials to create messy masterpieces! Where will our imaginations take us?! Please bring in a plain white T-shirt for Tie dye.

July 2^nd & 3^rd Cooking Creations– Young chefs will embark on a delicious culinary adventure. From mixing and measuring to tasting and decorating, each day will be filled with hands on experiences that foster a love for food and creativity in the kitchen!

 July 9^th, 10^th, 11^th Little Gardeners–Where young explorers dig, plant, and grow their love for nature! This camp offers an enriching and hands-on experience that introduces little ones to the wonders of gardening and the beauty of the natural world.

 July 16^th, 17^th, 18^th Pirates & Princess Palooza Pirates and Princesses set sail as we man the pirate ship, flags in hand and search for buried treasure. Prepare to embark on an unforgettable journey of pirate excitement on the high seas!

July 23^rd, 24^th & 25^th Space Odyssey– A camp where young adventurers blast off on an out-of-this world journey to explore the wonders of the cosmos!

July 30th, 31^st & Aug 1^st Mighty Heroes– Step into Superhero camp where little heroes embark on brave missions. With capes flying and masks on these preschool superheroes are ready for adventure!

August 6^th, 7^th, 8^th Kindness Counts! –Welcome to Kindness Counts Camp, where each day is filled with activities that promote kindness and empathy towards others, themselves, and the world around them.

 August 13^th, 14^th & 15^th–Tropical Paradise– Lets enter the last week of camp where the sun shines bright, the waves are gentle and the palm trees sway in the breeze! Campers will participate in some Luau themed games, Island exploration and Rainforest activities. It sure is Paradise at Stepping Stones!

 

 

Summer program for children ages 5-12

June 25^th, 26^th, 27^th Inventors Workshop-Foster creativity and innovation through arts, crafts, and imaginative play with themed days focusing on storytelling, puppetry and DIY projects

 July 2^nd, 3^rd– Explorers Wilderness Camp- Connect with nature through hiking, camping and outdoor survival skills, while learning about environmental conservation and sustainability.

 July 9^th, 10^th, 11^th– Mystery Mansion Escape-Welcome to Mystery Mansion Escape, where young detectives embark on an exhilarating adventure filled with intrigue, puzzles, and suspense. In this immersive camp experience, children will become junior sleuths as they enter a mysterious world of a grand mansion shrouded in secrets.

 July 16^th, 17^th 18^th Christmas in July- Get ready to deck the halls and jingle all the way! Children are invited to experience the magic of the holiday season in the middle of summer. From building snow globe ornaments to crafting Santa’s workshop creations, everyday filled with laughter, creativity, and holiday cheer.  Please bring a $10 gender neutral grab bag gift the first day of camp for our gift exchange at the end of the week.

July 23^rd,24^th,25^th Fantasy Kingdom– Explore a mystical realm filled with knights, dragons and wizards, engaging in quests, castle building and medieval themed games.

July 30th, 31^st, Aug 1^st Legoland- Let imaginations soar with LEGO building challenges and themed activities centered around everyone’s favorite building block.

August 6^th, 7^th, 8^th Time Travelers- Embark on thrilling adventures through different historical periods, from ancient Egypt to the future, with themed activities and time travel simulations. We’ll engage in a variety of themed activities and adventures that bring history to life and ignite their imaginations.

August 13^th, 14^th, 15^th Culinary Creations- Welcome to Culinary Creations camp where young chefs embark on a delicious journey into the word of cooking, baking and culinary creativity. This immersive camp offers a hands-on experience that combines culinary education, interactive cooking classes, and mouth-watering adventures in the kitchen.

 

The cost for camp only is $115.00 per session or $400.00 for 4 sessions.

Toddler Time!

Toddlers (18months-2.9) will participate in creative Summer themes for 8 weeks. No additional charge. The themes for toddlers are as follows:

June 25^th, 26^th & 27^th Bubble Bubble- A bonanza of bubbles will be billowing in this week as we create our own bubble solution and explore with a variety of wands. We will pop our way through the summer sun!

July 2^nd & 3^rd Let’s Play Sports– Get your head into the game as we head over to the soccer field and play soccer, volleyball and kickball. Wear your favorite Sports team shirt this week!

July 9^th, 10^th, 11^th Soaring in to Space- “Climb aboard the spaceship were headed to the moon…”Join us as we dig our hands in galaxy dough and create star art. All eyes to the skies!

July 16^th,17^th,18^th Rainbows- Somewhere over the rainbow we will create a messy sensation with creating fruit loop necklaces, painting with a variety of art and digging our hands into colorful spaghetti!

July 23^rd, 24^th, 25^th C is for Cookie-What could be better than cookie decorating, cookie art and cookie cutters!? Did we mention eating delicious cookies?

July 30^th,31^st,1^st Garden Creations- Our little gardeners will dig deep in soil exploring seeds, plant our own flowers and even enjoy a tasty “dirt” snack.  Please bring in a special rock to paint!

August 6^th, 7^th, 8^th Messy Play! Would it be summer if we didn’t create messes?! Paint splatter canvases, oobleck and shaving cream art are on tap! Best not to wear your favorite shirt!

 August 13^th,14^th,15^th Sand, Sun and Fun– Calling all campers!  We will soak in our last week of camp with water fun! So bring your bathing suit and towel as we prepare to get wet with water squirters and sprinkler play!
